The 46–49 Sequence

Read Horizontally Across the Centuries

How to Read This Page

Each quatrain number is read across multiple Centuries. The French text is shown first, followed by a restrained literal translation.

Quatrain 46 — Ignition

Près d’Auch, de Lectoure et Mirande
Grand feu du ciel en trois nuits tombera.

Near Auch, Lectoure, and Mirande,
a great fire from the sky will fall for three nights.

Across the Centuries, quatrain 46 consistently introduces sudden disruption originating from above.

Quatrain 47 — Authority Failure

Les discours du lac Léman fâcheront,
Les jours s’étendront en semaines.

The speeches of Lake Leman will enrage,
the days will stretch into weeks.

This quatrain repeatedly marks loss of control, delay, and institutional failure.

Quatrain 48 — Succession

Vingt ans du règne de la Lune passés,
Sept mille ans autre tiendra sa monarchie.

When twenty years of the Moon’s reign have passed,
another will hold dominion for seven thousand years.

Quatrain 48 marks transition, not destruction — the passing of authority.

Quatrain 49 — Consequence

Les peuples d’Orient par la Lune menés,
Presque subjuguer l’angle aquiloné.

The peoples of the East, led by the Moon,
will nearly subdue the northern region.

This stage consistently describes geopolitical aftermath and movement.
